Cell Therapy Center at China Medical University Hsinchu Hospital was established in May of the 110th year of the Republic of China, following the Special Management Measures for Cell Therapy by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The center began admitting patients and providing dendritic cell-cytokine-induced killer cell (DC-CIK) therapy for solid tumors.

DC-CIK cell therapy involves extracting immune cells from the patient, culturing, inducing, activating, and expanding them outside the body, and then reinfusing them back into the patient to fight cancer cells. This treatment helps control the progression of cancer and improves the patient's quality of life.
