Hemophilia And Thrombosis Center
Department Introduction
The "Hemophilia Center" of China Medical University Hsinchu Hospital was established on April 15, 108 (2019). It is dedicated to providing comprehensive medical care and creating a friendly environment for hemophilia patients, known as the "New Gospel for Hemophilia Patients in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli areas." The center extends its caring efforts beyond Hsinchu to benefit hemophilia patients in the region.
Under the joint leadership of Professor Peng Qingtian from the Pediatric Hematoma Department (also the President of the Taiwan Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis) and Director Chung Chih-Yuan from the Hematology-Oncology Department, the center integrates Rehabilitation Medicine, Orthopedics, Medical Imaging, and Gastroenterology. Notably, it is the first center to include the Emergency Department as part of the medical team, acting as the forefront guardians for hemophilia patients. The center offers immediate, safe, individualized, precise, and comprehensive care for hemophilia patients. Furthermore, it employs specialized case managers to provide patients with the latest medical and health education information.
By providing personalized and precise treatments for any hemophilia-related issues, the center aims to create a friendly healthcare environment, emphasizing the spirit of "holistic healthcare." Its ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of life for each patient, allowing them to enjoy a normal life to the fullest.
