Since its establishment, our hospital has treated hundreds of cancer patients. To provide an integrated cancer treatment model with a focus on patient-centered care, we have established a Cancer Center dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, care, and follow-up of cancer patients. This center serves as an integration hub across departments, offering personalized and high-quality cancer care while addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients comprehensively.

In addition to multidisciplinary integrated services, we have established ten major cancer care teams, including colorectal cancer, head and neck cancer, breast cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, urological cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, gynecological cancer, and lymphoma. These teams combine outpatient cancer clinics, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, case management, cancer resource centers, nutritional counseling, and social work and psychological support to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care services. We also aim to establish social resource networks, actively promote cancer-related medical education and research, and strive to provide precision cancer care while continuously improving the quality of cancer care services.

The Cancer Treatment Center, constructed to the level of a medical center, integrates Western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, nutrition, health education, and chemotherapy to provide comprehensive services, eliminating the need for patients to travel between departments. The outpatient chemotherapy unit offers 20 independent treatment spaces, co-located with the chemotherapy dispensary, ensuring the safest and most comfortable treatment environment for patients.

Additionally, the Cancer Integrated Supportive Therapy Center offers traditional Chinese medicine, nutrition, and integrated alternative treatment options, allowing residents of Hsinchu to receive high-quality medical care locally. Our services are safe, effective, and prioritizing patient comfort. We have taken the first step and will continue to strengthen patient safety and medical quality, integrating local high technology to provide the best quality cancer care.

Our hospital has established multidisciplinary medical teams, integrating the expertise of various specialists. Through effective communication and resource utilization among different specialties, personalized treatment plans are formulated for various cancer cases through case discussions, ensuring appropriate treatment arrangements and enhancing the overall quality of cancer treatment and care.

The team comprises specialists from internal medicine, surgery, pathology, radiology, hematology-oncology, palliative care, as well as case managers, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, and psychologists. Operating in a multidisciplinary collaborative model, combined with the inclusion of traditional Chinese medicine, individualized treatment and services are provided based on patients' stages, physical abilities, and economic conditions.

We aim to provide appropriate medical services from diagnosis to treatment, catering to patients at all stages of cancer, so they no longer view cancer with despair and fear. In addition to improving survival rates, we strive to offer a dignified treatment environment with quality care.
