The Laboratory Department has fully introduced the latest automated and medical center-grade testing equipment, providing reliable and scientific objective data to assist clinical physicians in making accurate judgments. The team is composed of a department head, chief technician, team leaders, and more than a dozen professional medical laboratory scientists. It is structured with quality assurance, biochemical serum, blood smear examination, blood bank, microbiology immunology, and precision molecular biology units, offering the most advanced technology and professional services to the residents of Greater Hsinchu.
The Laboratory Department provides reliable and scientific objective data to assist clinical physicians in making correct judgments. Overseen by Dr. Jing-An Yang, Ph.D. in Immunology from Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, the department occupies approximately 200 square meters of space and has fully introduced the latest automated and medical center-grade testing equipment, offering the most advanced technology and professional services to the residents of Greater Hsinchu.
The department has developed several precision medical testing projects to assist clinical physicians in diagnosing complex diseases, detecting early-stage cancers, monitoring cancer, and selecting targeted medications. It has a precision medical clinic available for consultation for individuals with specific needs, aiming to embrace the era of precision health/precision testing fully.
