During its inception, under the generous assistance of Director Chen Ziliang, Dr. Lin Xiaozu, embryologists, and others, the Reproductive Medicine Center was established. In May 2022, Dr. Li Mengru took office and sought out two experienced embryologists, re-establishing a brand-new team for the Reproductive Medicine Center, aiming to benefit more local couples seeking to conceive. Building upon the solid foundation of excellence in obstetrics and gynecology at China Medical University Hospital, our Obstetrics and Gynecology Reproductive Medicine Center physicians are experienced and have completed specialized clinical training at medical centers.

Dr. Li Mengru graduated from the School of Medicine at Chung Shan Medical University and received a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from the Institute of Molecular Medicine at National Taiwan University. He has worked as a research fellow in the Infertility Department at Taipei Mackay Memorial Hospital, as an attending physician in the Infertility Department at Hsinchu Mackay Memorial Hospital, and as an attending physician at the Hsinchu Stork Reproduction Center. He is a qualified practitioner in assisted reproduction, serves as one of the reviewers for the international journal J. Assist. Reprod. Genet., and specializes in infertility, recurrent miscarriage, repeated implantation failure, polycystic ovary syndrome, male infertility, diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis, oocyte cryopreservation, in vitro fertilization, preimplantation genetic diagnosis/screening, preconception genetic disease screening (carrier screening), hysteroscopy, and treatment. He aims to provide the most caring medical services for infertile couples, fulfill their dreams of conception, and ensure a safe and smooth pregnancy, antenatal care, and delivery with the excellent team of obstetricians and gynecologists at our hospital, achieving specialized and individualized care.
